Sanne Anna Sofie Karlsson, born November 11, 1985, was picked to be in Play by Laila Bagge, Anaïs, and Fanny after Rosanna decided against being in the group again.
Before being in the group she finished her musical education at Rytmus in 2004 and then worked as a demo singer, backup singer, and songwriter. She has worked with various Swedish artists, including E-Type. During 2008 and 2009 she teamed up with Ulf Lindström and Johan Ekhé, a songwriter/producer team, and created the band Ghost vs Sanne. They toured in the United States for a short time before Sanne joined Play.
After Play disbanded in 2011, Sanne has performed again with E-Type and recorded backing vocals for singer Nikki Ponte.
