Janet Leon

Janet Ava Leon, born October 19, 1990, was added to Play when Faye left the group in 2003. She is the youngest girl to ever be a part of the group.

Janet has always enjoyed performing and took dance, singing, and violin lessons from an early age. When she was 12, she performed in a local band called Walking Spanish.

In 2005 she worked with Build-A-Bear and everGirl to release promotional songs for the brands outside of Play. She also sung vocals on the Bratz Rock Angelz album.

She continued working closely with Play’s co-manager Laila Bagge, and in 2009 she was featured on the first season of Made In Sweden, a television show created by Bagge, Andreas Carlsson, and Anders Bagge. The show documented the weeks before Janet released her debut single and album. During this time she also met Roger Moore and recorded a song for the movie Tomtar & Troll.

During 2010 she toured as Marty in the Swedish Broadway version of Grease.
